Tad Martin served on the Board of Trustees of the American Folk Art Museum from 2015 to 2022. He is the founder of Collective[i], along with Heidi Messer and Stephen Messer. He is one of the World Wide Web’s early pioneers and has extensive experience growing internet companies from startups into mature organizations. Prior to Collective[i], Mr. Martin was COO and GMM of Overstock.com, where he oversaw all aspects of warehouse operations, customer care, and product purchasing. He also developed Gear.com, an online sporting goods retailer backed by Amazon.com. Mr. Martin is also a member of the Collective[i] Board of Directors and previously served on the Board of SendTheTrend, which was acquired by QVC. Mr. Martin holds a BA in English from the University of Utah.
