Please join me in celebrating the extraordinary career of Stacy Hollander, who will leave the American Folk Art Museum (AFAM) after thirty-four years of inspirational exhibitions and unwavering commitment to scholarship.
During her tenure, Stacy has led the museum with grace, perseverance, and humor, contributing to important milestones in AFAM’s history. Indeed, Stacy has literally shaped the museum over half of its history with curiosity and thought-provoking creativity in acquisitions, exhibitions, and programs through her roles as deputy director of curatorial affairs, director of exhibitions, and chief curator.
The Stacy C. Hollander Fund for Exhibitions will allow her extraordinary legacy to continue by supporting exhibitions at the American Folk Art Museum for years to come.
