Peter Rapaport has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Folk Art Museum since 2014 and is Chair of the Audit Committee. Dr. Rapaport is a private wealth manager at Henley & Co. For more than two decades, he has volunteered with the American Red Cross, served on the Brooklyn Chapter Board, chaired the Greater New York Regional Board, and currently serves as the volunteer partner for the regional CEO of the American Red Cross of New Jersey, of which he is a founding Board member. Dr. Rapaport has chaired the Board of the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect. He is the founder and a Trustee of the Rapaport Family Charitable Trust, which supports numerous non-profit organizations, including Mt. Sinai Hospital, Roswell Park Cancer Institute, and American Forests. He holds a PhD and MA in Psychology from the University of Colorado, an MBA in Finance from Portland State University, and a BA in Mathematics and Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania.
