Lybra S. Clemons has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Folk Art Museum since 2023. She is a seasoned C-Suite executive with 20 years of Human Resources, Talent, Culture, and DEI experience across Fortune 500 companies. Previously, Ms. Clemons was the Chief Diversity Officer at Twilio, the Global Head of Diversity & Inclusion at PayPal, and she has held key roles at Morgan Stanley, The Brunswick Group, and American Express.
Ms. Clemons was a member of the Studio Museum in Harlem’s Contemporary Friends and The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Multicultural Audience Development Committee. She currently serves as an Advisor of Iloominus (HR Tech company), HR Advisor for SemperVirens Venture Fund, is a member of Black Women on Boards (BWOB), Private Directors Association, and the Links Incorporated. Ms. Clemons holds a B.A. in Political Science from Spelman College, a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and an Executive Management degree from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
