It is with great sadness that we share the loss of Linda Simon: a beloved community member, dear friend of the museum, passionate student of the field, and AFAM docent since 1993. Linda will be remembered for her dedicated friendship to so many– her endless curiosity, quick wit, and fierce commitment to all that she loved. She and her husband Ray Simon were an integral part of the museum community for decades, beginning with Linda’s involvement with the Folk Art Studies program. She was a force of nature, and will be missed. The museum extends its deepest sympathy to Linda’s family and friends.
