Beloved and longtime friend of the museum, Lenore Blank, passed away on February 27, 2019. Lenore was a treasured part of the American Folk Art Museum community. She served as a docent since 2000, and was particularly active in youth and teen programs. Lenore, along with her husband Stephen, was a passionate collector and advocate for the arts. She nurtured a curiosity of the world and its cultures through avid travel. Lenore is survived by her husband and daughter. She will be remembered for her lovely nature, commitment to friendship, and joie de vivre.
