Edward V. Blanchard, Jr. (Monty) has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Folk Art Museum since 2003. He was elected President in 2011 and Chair in 2019. He is Co-Chair of the Collections Committee and a member of the Museum’s Legacy Society. Mr. Blanchard is on the Board of Directors at Inuvikia, Inc. and Manager of OBX Hospitality LLC. He was previously Managing Director at Aon Benfield Securities, Inc., Senior Advisor at Irving Place Capital, Executive Vice President-Strategy & Acquisitions at Bankrate, Inc, and a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. Mr. Blanchard received his BA from Harvard University and MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
