We sadly note the passing of Bill Cunningham, the New York Times photographer who chronicled the streets and the soirees of the city for more than forty years. Bill was a great friend of the American Folk Art Museum, and he covered our galas over the years for his Sunday Styles’ “Evening Hours” page. He was also close to members of the board and staff, all of whom were touched by his talent and vigorous professionalism. We will miss seeing that bright blue jacket of a true New York original.
