Barbara L. Gordon has served on the Board of Trustees of the American Folk Art Museum since 2012 and is the Chair of the Nominating and Governance Committee and Co-Chair of the Collections Committee. She is also a member of the American Folk Art Society. Ms. Gordon received a BA from Cornell University and a JD from Case Western Reserve University. She was a trial attorney and litigation supervisor at the United States Department of Justice, Civil Division. She also served as counsel at the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Executive Office of the President in the Reagan Administration, and the United States Trade Representative Carla Hills. Her American folk art collection was presented at the Museum in the 2014 exhibition A Shared Legacy: Folk Art in America, which toured nationally.
