It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Arthur S. Hoffman, a decades-long supporter of the American Folk Art Museum. Both as President of The Leir Charitable Foundations and from his personal knowledge of art and philanthropy, Arthur was an inspiration to the Board and staff of this museum. His generosity and guidance were key elements of our success, and we will miss him dearly. Our sympathies are extended to his family and many friends.
