Virtual Closer-Look Tour

Bill Traylor, one of the 20th century’s best known self-taught artists, created his body of work between the ages of 85 and 95. Many others waited, or had to wait, until they retired, were widowed, or raised their children—or all of the above. In this program, we’ll explore the work of artists from the collection who came to art-making later in life.

Join us for a virtual tour inspired by artwork in the Museum’s collection. Free and open to all. For more information, or to register: education@folkartmuseum.org.
