On February 29th, from 10-11:30 am, individuals who are blind or have low vision are invited to explore the current exhibitions in-person.
This experience will be offered at the Museum, through verbal description and guided discussion. Senior Educator Nicole Haroutunian will facilitate a 90-minute gallery tour exploring the current exhibitions. This program is free, but space is limited. RSVP is required. To register, email education@folkartmuseum.org.
Image Description: A photograph showing a view of the museum gallery, with a white wall on the left hung with three framed artworks, two small portrait drawings and a larger portrait painting of what appears to be a Black man in 19th century formal dress. To the right, there is a glass case displaying a three dimensional, near-life sized portrait bust of a Black woman wearing a cap on her head.
