Join us for NYC Homecoming Week August 18-21, 2021.

NYC Homecoming will be a citywide celebration, featuring live concerts at iconic venues, free movie screenings, cultural activities, public art, and more. This five-borough week of events will drive support for the mom-and-pop businesses that define our neighborhoods and kept the heart of our city beating throughout the COVID pandemic.

– Jazz Guitarist Bill Wurtzel and Bassist Boots Maleson will play live sets outside the American Folk Art Museum on Wednesday, August 18th from 1-3 pm.

– Pop-up family activities and art-making for all ages will be held outdoors on Saturday, August 21st from 12-4 pm.

– Closer-Look Gallery Tours of American Weathervanes: The Art of the Winds will be held on Thursday, August 19th at 1 pm and 3 pm (limited to 10 people each, first come first served).

– A 10% Museum Shop discount will be offered all week, with 20% off for AFAM Members.
