In the spirit of Brooklyn Public Library’s summer theme, What’s Your Story? join this free drop-in program, participants will use colorful yarn, fabric, and thread to create their own sculptures inspired by the work of self-taught artist Judith Scott, who transformed ordinary materials into surprising anything-but-ordinary words of art.
Using a range of art materials, participants will personalize their own tote bags using techniques like stamping, embroidery, and/or appliqué.
