Folk Art Reflections Music Series

The Folk Art Reflections Music Series offers free live music programs designed for adults living with memory loss, their families, and care partners. This special performance will take place via Zoom, with an opportunity to speak to the musicians after this live, interactive music event.

Join us virtually on Thursday, December 10th from 2pm to 3pm for a live concert with select members of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra.

This program is free, but space is limited—registration is required, and a Zoom invitation will be emailed to you.

For more details, or to register: egronke@folkartmuseum.org or 212. 265. 0605.

Orpheus Reflections is a program designed to bring the healing power of music to people living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia and their caregivers. Music can bring emotional and physical closeness, help to ease stress, and encourage positive interactions. We hope you will join us!

This program is funded by a generous grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. Support for 2020 remote public programs is provided by Art Bridges and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH).
