The current exhibit, American Weathervanes: The Art of the Winds, explores the artistry and cultural significance of these unique sculptural forms. This program introduces a variety of abstracted vanes– families will explore several examples from the exhibit and think about how artists play with shape and line before engaging in hands-on activities together.
Registrants will be provided with a simple list of materials to assemble before the program so that we can make art together. For families with children ages 4 and up. Please contact familyprograms@folkartmuseum.org to learn more or register here.
Zoom link will be sent with confirmation of registration.
Families and Folk Art is supported by the estate of Marlene Gordon.
