Online, via Zoom
Families will learn about collaborative artworks from the exhibition, American Perspectives: Stories from the American Folk Art Museum. Join us to explore the strange and fantastical desert installation Possum Trot, a collaboration between artists Calvin and Ruby Black. Then, create your own sculpture inspired by the works discussed!
Registrants will be provided with a simple list of materials to assemble before the program so that we can make art together. For families with children ages 4 and up. Please contact familyprograms@folkartmuseum.
Families and Folk Art is supported by the estate of Marlene Gordon.
