Exploring Natural Pigments: Inspired by Art from the American Folk Art Museum

In the spirit of Brooklyn Public Library’s summer theme, Color Everywhere, join this free drop-in program, participants will use natural materials—from flowers to vegetables and more—to make their own paint! Drawing inspiration from self-taught artists like Aloise Corbaz, Melvin Edward Nelson, and Jimmy Lee Sudduth, they’ll use their hand-make paint to create art to bring home.

This program is at the Brooklyn Public Library—Jamaica Bay Branch:

9727 Seaview Ave. at E. 98th St. near Rockaway Pkwy, 9727 Seaview Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11236
