Join Luce Assistant Curator Brooke Wyatt for an introductory tour of Material Witness: Folk and Self-Taught Artists at Work. This in-person, hour-long tour will examine highlights from each of the exhibition’s four sections, with a spotlight on recent gifts to AFAM’s collection. Visitors will explore artists’ use of diverse materials, considering distinctive creations wrought from regionally sourced products, fascinating transformations of scavenged objects, and ingenious applications of both conventional and unexpected craft and fine art materials.
