In the spirit of Brooklyn Public Library\u2019s summer theme, <\/span>What\u2019s Your Story?<\/b> join this free drop-in program, participants will use colorful yarn, fabric, and thread to create their own sculptures inspired by the work of self-taught artist Judith Scott, who transformed ordinary materials into surprising anything-but-ordinary words of art.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Using a range of art materials, participants will personalize their own tote bags using techniques like stamping, embroidery, and\/or appliqu\u00e9.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
