Several artists in the exhibition\u00a0Memory Palaces: Inside the Collection of Audrey B. Heckler<\/em><\/a>\u00a0have created their own visual language, which often include intricate, mesmerizing patterns and dizzying repetition. Participants will explore the artwork on a guided tour, then return to the studio to use mixed media to create their own pieces that focus on detailed patterning.<\/p>\n Families and Folk Art introduces children ages 4 to 12 and their accompanying adults to folk art through interactive discussion-based tours in the galleries followed by hands-on artmaking activities inspired by objects in the museum.
